Peaceful Escape & Hidden Desires – Two acrylic paintings by Wendy-lee Pinas (inspired by Leonid Afremov)
One day i was surfing the internet looking for inspiration for my perfume blog when i ran into this painting, “Alley by the lake” by Leonid Afremov. I was in awe, it was love at first sight!
To make a long story short, this painting had such a great impact on me and inspired me to start painting again. It will always remind me of that moment and of how it made me feel.

It was my first introduction to his works and i immediately fell in love with it and was deeply touched. It overwhelmed me with a feeling of peace, quiet and beauty whenever i look at it, i just had to paint it myself. This painting became my “Peaceful Escape” and inspired me to start painting again.
